My name is Godfrey Leung
the illustrator behind SFU Illustration.
My work focuses on character-driven artwork inspired by anime, manga, games, and sports, combining semi-realistic portraiture, bold linework, and cinematic lighting.
I currently exhibit professionally at conventions throughout the Northeast, where I have the opportunity to share my work and connect with a growing audience.
After stepping away from drawing for 22 years, finding my way back to art felt almost unreal. It became more than rediscovering something I loved — it gave me a renewed sense of purpose, creative energy, and the will to keep dreaming.
Today, SFU Illustration is where I continue developing my voice as an artist, exploring new ideas, and sharing what I create both online and in person.
What excites me most is what I'm creating now — and where it takes me next.
PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
Selected illustration work includes projects connected with Cinépolis Chile, Hong Kong singer and actor Louis Cheung (@louischeung2013) and professional basketball player Yuki Kawamura (@kawamurayuki_8) . SFU Illustration also exhibits at anime and pop-culture conventions throughout the Northeast.
